Liberty Essence if you only had to have one .22 Silencer THIS is it.
NO noticeable FRP .. absolutely amazing for a mono-core
Replaceable SS Blast Baffle
Low Blow-back Tapered Bore design = longer shooting times between cleaning your hosts
Fit and Finish .. my "in the white" raw Ti Essence is amazing.. it's Jewelry
QUIET.. To my ear it is a little quieter than my AAC Prodigy which is VERY quiet.
Comes with take down tools
Durable.. No fear when bead blasting like with an AL core silencer.
Full auto rated
Multi cal ... 22 mag, 17 HMR etc.. but no center-fire
I have 3 .22 silencers all with different feature sets. If I had to only have one it would be the Essence hands down. (They would have to pry my SS Sparrow out of my hands however)
A SS Sparrow and an Essence and with these 2 you have the best of the best with all the features you will ever need. The Essence for most shooting and the SS Sparrow for the heavy duty usage times (like a few bricks in a day with full auto in the mix.) The Essence is full auto rated but the SS Sparrow is easier to service after heavy usage.
The Essence is light and it is hardly noticeable on my 4" High Standard. Mine in the white is deceptive as it looks like SS but when you pick it up it's LIGHT. Did I say it;s QUIET... and NO noticeable FRP... How did they do that?
None that I can see other than cost, but you are getting what you pay for.
Not really a con, but it is not quite as easy to take apart after lots of shooting as a SS Sparrow is.
Great performing high-end 22 can
*Light weight - at 4 oz, it's barely detectable on the host.
*Non-detectable FRP - very little if any that I can detect
*Quiet - this thing is as quiet as they come.
*Versatle - Performs very well on a variety of hosts
*Customer Service - Dave is great, this was my first can and he helped me through the entire process and I picked it up directly from him at his shop. He followed up on questions fast and is very knowledgable.
The finish is the only thing I felt like could be improved upon. I have the 1st generation model and there are a few specs in the finish at the bottom cap and just a little discoloration on the endcap. It's not that bad, it's just for this expensive of a 22 can, I expected perfection. I wish it had come in different colors when i bought mine but the second generation does so that problem was fixed.
It's more expensive than most but my theory is to not consider cost in a can since I will have it my entire life.
